THE new IBM IT Services Centre will employ 300 people and add an estimated $61 million to Ballarat's purse.

IBM services centre a boon for Ballarat
A new information technology service centre will be officially opened in Ballarat today, adding $61 million to the region's economy over the next five years and 300 jobs to an area of Victoria where unemployment is an ongoing problem.
IBM further investment in Tech Park
The University of Ballarat and IBM Australia will construct a new $10.8 million IT Services Centre at the University of Ballarat Technology Park (UBTP).
