The Technology Park hosts a range of innovative businesses. Some are very small, five to ten employees, while others such as IBM are very large, with hundreds of employees.
The Technology Park facilitates the interaction and engagement of businesses through a range of targeted events. For example, each month a Breakfast is held in the Park, addressed by a specialist speaker from business, research or government. The University is committed to assisting enterprises access important knowledge and skills for growth.
In addition to the Park’s ‘early stage’ and ‘next step’ technology-business incubators – Greenhill Enterprise Centre (GEC) and Global Innovation Centre (GIC) – the Park hosts several large enterprises in customised site developments. The Technology Park has a range of sites available for development, tailored to meet the needs of a large-scale enterprise.
Current iconic tenants include IBM Australia, Victoria’s State Revenue Office, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Ambulance Victoria and Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority.
Management of the Technology Park is adept at accessing support and assistance from the State Government and the City of Ballarat to enable an enterprise to thrive.
