Ambulance Victoria
AVComm is a business unit of Ambulance Victoria, a major tenant on the UBTP. AVComm undertakes 'cutting edge' projects to support the provision of quality and responsive Emergency Services delivery. Recent projects have included upgrading communications technology, installation of a new mobile radio networks, development of a computer aided dispatch system (CAD), a state wide paging system and refurbishing operational centres with AVcad and AVnet.

Ballarat ICT Ltd
Ballarat ICT Ltd is a not-for-profit partnership of industry, government and educational institutions dedicated to sustaining and growing a globally competitive information, communication and technology (ICT) industry in Ballarat. Its purpose is to ensure that all agencies, organisations and groups represent the interests of the Ballarat ICT community, and are actively committed to, and involved in, achieving one vision for Ballarat.
Two of its principal functions are as follows:

Central Victoria Solar City
The Central Victoria Solar City, along with six other Solar Cities located in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Blacktown, Moreland, Perth and Townsville, is part of the Australian Government Solar Cities initiative which offers incentives to local residents and businesses to participate in a trial range of energy efficiency, local energy generation and demand management products and services.
Open to 2,500 households and businesses in the Central Victoria Solar City area, this initiative is helping change the way we think about, and use, energy. Participants in the Central Victoria Solar City will trial a unique range of energy options, such as energy efficiency measures for homes and businesses, pricing trials to reward those people who use energy wisely, the use of solar technologies and community education about energy use.
The information gathered through the Solar Cities program will assist:
- householders to better manage their energy use.
- industry including small businesses, to test sustainable energy options in a low-risk environment.
- electricity companies to better understand the extent of cost savings in servicing peak energy demand periods.
- governments to develop future energy and greenhouse policy.

Grampians Rural Health Alliance
Grampians Rural Health Alliance is one of five alliances of Victorian rural health agencies that are responsible for the delivery of the Victorian Department of Human Services HealthSMART strategy and Health Information and Communications Technology (ICT) strategic planning and development within each rural health region. Each Alliance is governed by a Joint Venture Agreement. The Grampians Rural Health Alliance covers the Victorian Department of Human Services Grampians Region of Western Victoria.

The team located in the Global Innovation Centre form part of a global team who develop, implement and support GE's Centricity ULTRA Laboratory Information System solution which has been implemented in over 9 countries around the world. The principal functions provided from the Ballarat operations include Help Desk Support, Client Relationship Management and Business Development.
