The team located in the Global Innovation Centre form part of a global team who develop, implement and support GE's Centricity ULTRA Laboratory Information System solution which has been implemented in over 9 countries around the world. The principal functions provided from the Ballarat operations include Help Desk Support, Client Relationship Management and Business Development.

RAVComm is a business unit of Rural Ambulance Victoria, a major tenant on the UBTP. RAVComm undertakes 'cutting edge' projects to support the provision of quality and responsive Emergency Services delivery. Recent projects have included upgrading communications technology, installation of a new mobile radio networks, development of a computer aided dispatch system (CAD), a state wide paging system and refurbishing operational centres with RAVcad and RAVnet.

University Project Office: Student Information Management System

The University's current Student Administration System for Higher Education (UBSAS) has served the Institution well for 15 years. The University is now committed to the introduction of a new system that can meet the organisation's future higher education requirements and enable web-based self service. Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions has been selected as the new Student Information Management System (SIMS) for Higher Education. This provides the University with many opportunities to review and improve our current business processes.
