Advanced VTOL Technologies Pty Ltd Ondeck helicopter-ship dynamic simulation analysis helps to mitigate the risk of operating helicopters from ships. This is achieved by utilising a specifically developed advanced simulation tool (Ondeck) that can accurately model the dynamic interaction between a helicopter and ship to establish safe ship motion operating limits and provide operational guidance. The Ondeck model was initially developed by the Australian Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO).

For over 10 years AVT has provided analysis services using the Ondeck software and has assisted the Australian Defence Force, as well as other defence forces including the Danish Navy, Swedish Navy and the New Zealand Navy.

Centre for Regional Innovation and Competitiveness (CRIC) Survey Research Centre

The Survey Research Centre within the Centre for Regional Innovation and Competitiveness offers significant capability and experience in relation to the conduct of market and academic research. Computer assisted telephone interviews enable surveys to be carried out. The Survey Research Centre can then collate and dissect data to the client's specifications. The screen based system can instantly analyse the information by using software designed for the purpose. The software can randomly select its target audience. The Survey Research Centre frequently provides services in the gathering of customer service data, evaluation of government programs and policies or public perception of an entity.
